About the Role

As a Junior Designer, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Content and the Senior Designer to produce work of the highest quality. To be successful as a Junior Graphic Designer, you should have original ideas and have a keen eye for detail. Ultimately, a successful Junior Graphic Designer should be able to create imaginative designs, be open to learning more and create impressive designs that promote the company's vision. 

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Participate in design projects from concept to completion
  • Manage projects across multiple brands within brand guidelines and design specifications
  • Develop graphics for digital platforms including social media posts, email design, e-books and downloads, illustrations, web assets and more 
  • Ensure projects are completed on time according to deadlines
  • QA design for errors
  • Listen to feedback to hone skills and improve design

Requirements

  • Education/training sector or agency experience a plus
  • Experience in an internship or entry-level graphic design role
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign
  • Creative thinker
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a lean and rapidly changing entrepreneurial organization required 
  • Self-awareness and a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
