We are seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer with hands-on experience in MarQ/Lucid Press to join our university client's team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and enhancing our template library, ensuring that it aligns with the university’s branding standards. You will also be responsible for redesigning templates as needed, ensuring a consistent and visually appealing output across all university materials.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain the MarQ/Lucid Press template library, ensuring templates are up-to-date and organized.
• Redesign existing templates to improve visual appeal and functionality, while adhering to university branding guidelines.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their design needs and translate them into effective templates.
• Create designs in Adobe InDesign and efficiently transfer them into MarQ/Lucid Press as needed.
• Design directly within MarQ/Lucid Press for quick turnaround projects.
• Ensure all design work maintains high standards of accuracy, quality, and creativity.

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 4 years of experience
• Proven experience working with MarQ/Lucid Press, particularly in an administrative or template management capacity.
• Previous design experience within a university setting is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign with the ability to seamlessly transfer designs to MarQ/Lucid Press.
• Solid understanding of graphic design principles, layout, typography, and color theory.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
