• Eligible Programs: Full-time taught master’s courses in the Faculties of Engineering & Design, Humanities & Social Sciences, and Science.
• Eligibility:
  • Open to applicants of all nationalities (UK and international).
  • Applicants must hold an offer from the University of Bath for a full-time taught master’s course starting in 2025/2026.
  • Candidates must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Applicants must not have previously studied for a full undergraduate degree in Scotland or received a Saltire Scholarship.
  • Meet the University’s English language requirements.
• Application Deadlines:
  • Apply by 11 April 2025 for a decision by 9 May 2025.
  • Apply by 11 June 2025 for a decision by 11 July 2025.

Application Process

Eligibility Criteria for Global Leaders Scholarship

To qualify for Global Leaders Scholarship at University of Bath, candidate must fulfill all of the following requirements below:

• Required Language: English. Meet the language requirements of the course.
• Eligible Countries: All world countries.
• You must hold an offer from the University of Bath for a full-time taught master’s course for entry year 2025/2026
• The Global Leaders Scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and future leadership potential. Applicants should demonstrate excellent team working skills and have a strong vision for the future.
• Not have previously studied for a full undergraduate degree in Scotland.
• Not have previously received a Saltire Scholarship.
• Applicants must demonstrate:
  • An interest in studying in Scotland and/or at a specific Scottish university.
  • The aspiration to work and study in a global context and take a position of leadership in their chosen career.
  • A willingness and the necessary interpersonal and communication skills required to participate in the program of activities that accompanies the scholarships.

Additional Notes

• The scholarship is competitive and awarded based on merit. It cannot be combined with other University of Bath scholarships but may be combined with external funding, subject to terms.
• For living expenses, students should budget approximately £1,015 per month for accommodation, food, and other costs in Bath, depending on lifestyle.
