EMMIR offers a unique and interdisciplinary  education in migration studies, providing students with opportunities to study in various countries across Europe and Africa.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the EMMIR programme, you must:

  • Hold a first university degree (bachelor’s or equivalent) in social sciences or a related field.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English (IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent certification).
  • Have a strong motivation and interest in migration studies, intercultural relations, or related fields.

 

Application Process

Applications are submitted through the eMundus platform. There are three categories of applicants:

  1. Scholarship Application Link  
  2. Non-fee Paying Self-Funded Applicants: Applicants who meet specific criteria can study without paying fees but without a scholarship.
  3. Fee Paying Self-Funded Applicants: Those who can finance their studies independently.

Steps to apply:

  1. Register in eMundus.
  2. Complete the online application form by filling out the required fields in English.
  3. Upload supporting documents, including a CV, statement of purpose, passport copy, degree certificates, and proof of language proficiency.
  4. Submit the application before the deadline corresponding to your funding category.

 

Important Deadlines

  • 18 December 2024: Deadline for scholarship and non-fee paying self-funded applicants.
  • 15 July 2025: Deadline for fee-paying self-funded applicants (on a first-come, first-served basis).
